Housing Authority of the County of Alameda Waiting list Section 8
The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda has released a waiting list for the HACA Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher in Alameda County, California.
HACA is providing a 1-day extension to the Housing Choice Voucher Program and the waiting list through April 2024 for HACA-owned project-based 3- and 4-bedroom units.
Individuals who are homeless, veterans, and disaster-stricken may be eligible. In this HACA waiting list, 5,000 selected applicants will be placed in the waiting list by random lottery according to the order of preference.
Who can apply?
All families and individuals can qualify for the Housing Authority of Alameda County waiting list.
Eligiblity requirements:
- Head of Household must be 18 or older or emancipated youth.
- At least one person in the household must be a U.S. citizen or eligible immigrant.
- No person listed must be a lifetime sex offender in any state.
- No individual listed may be convicted of drug-related criminal activity for the production or manufacturing of methamphetamine on the premises of federally assisted housing.
- The gross income of all the persons listed should not exceed the following income limits:
