How to Apply for DC Emergency Rental Assistance Application

Here, the DC Emergency Rental Assistance Program is available for D.C. residents who are looking for a DC Emergency Rental Assistance Application. It’ll be open on January 2 at noon, according to the district’s Department of Human Services.

The Emergency Rental Assistance Application (ERAP) is available to DC residents who earn less than 40% of the area median income and are at least 30 days behind on rent or are at risk of homelessness. People who apply for DC ERAP will receive money for overdue rent and court costs related to any possible eviction.

The department’s goal through this program is to support security deposits and the first month’s rent for residents moving into new apartments. People who come from low-income households can get paid.
