WHC’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) waiting list application can be filled out from the official website, https://westlandhc2023.hdswaitinglist.com/. Applicants can apply at any time during the online registration open enrollment period. 

Section 8 HCV waiting lists open at 12:01 a.m. EDT on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, and close at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday, June 5th, 2023. 

At the end of the enrollment period, WHC will hold a random lottery of all applications and place 1000 applicants on the WHC HCV waiting list.

To complete the WHC HCV application process, you will need to provide the required information for all members of your household.

1. Applicants need to provide accurate information to qualify for the HCV program. Submission of false information or misrepresentation will result in disqualification from the lottery, and you will not be eligible to participate in the HCV Program.
2. Only one application can app per household, otherwise, they will be disqualified.
3. Household income should not exceed the very low-income limit. Check your income from here.
