Town of Ramapo Housing Authority Project Based Voucher (PBV) waiting list

The town of Ramapo Housing Authority Project Based Voucher (PBV) waiting list is open on June 10, 2024 at 9:00 AM EST and Closing on June 19, 2024 at 5:00 PM EST.

They accept 100 studio apartment applications and 50 one-bedroom apartment applications for their Catamount and Pondview Project Based Voucher sites.

Ramapo Housing Authority has partnered with AffordableHousing.com to manage this waiting list. To apply online and set up a new account or access an existing account:

Follow the steps below to apply for the Town of Ramapo Housing Authority Project Based Voucher (PBV) waiting list.

• Go to the official website at info.affordablehousing.com/RamapoHA.
• Then, Review the waiting list descriptions and click the “Apply Now” link.
• Login In to access an already existing account or;
• Sign Up to create an account on AffordableHousing.com, if you are first-time users.
• You need to verify your email address and phone number.
• After that, complete your application and submit it before the deadline.

After the waiting list is closed, eligible applicants will be notified of their lottery number by email and will be placed on the RHA Section 8 waitlist in random order. Applicants will be notified 30 days after the list is closed.

Reasonable Accommodations

If you are unable to apply, applicants requiring reasonable accommodations should contact Ashley@RamapoHousing.com or call (845) 237-3150. Note that applicants may request a reasonable accommodation form until the waitlist deadline of June 19, 2024.

However, all cases will be reviewed on an independent basis and an opportunity to apply is not guaranteed. After the reasonable accommodation period, all applications will be randomly selected, resulting in 150 applicants on the PBV waitlist.
