The City of Grand Prairie Housing and Neighbourhood Services will start a waiting list for its Housing Choice Voucher Program is closed from May 1, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. (central time) to May 2, 2023. The first 10,000 applicants have already submitted Grand Prairie housing applications. Grand Prairie Housing Waiting list
The Grand Prairie Housing Program uses money from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to support all Texas residents to rent privately owned, safe, and clean housing.
Under this GPTX housing program, households pay a portion of the rent, and the program will pay the rest.
Applicants can apply for the City of Grand Prairie Housing and Neighbourhood Service application at waitlistcheck.com/tx673. You can submit it online only.
Every public computer is also available for use at Housing and Neighbourhood Services, 210 W. Main St.,
Grand Prairie, TX 75050, from 8:00 am (central time) – 11:00 am (central time) and 1:00 pm (central time) – 3:00 pm (central time) Monday and Tuesday.
Other areas with public computers have the Grand Prairie Main Library, 901 Conover St. Grand Prairie, TX; Warmack Branch Library, 760 Bardin Road., Grand Prairie, TX; and Tony Shotwell Life Center, 2750 Graham St., Grand Prairie, TX.
Applicant must note that the capacity of the waiting list is completely closed and registration is closed.
