City of New Rochelle PHA Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List is opening soon and CNRPHA will accept Section 8 applications online from June 10, 2024, until June 17, 2024. interested individuals can apply for the CNRPHA waiting list.
The Section 8 waiting list applications must be submitted online and will only be available during the list opening period. make sure that Paper applications, walk-ins, and fax will not be accepted.
Applicants will be selected for the Section 8 waiting list on the basis of lottery.
Eligiblity Requirement and Preference
The City of New Rochelle Housing Choice Voucher Program Section 8 waiting list has the following preferences:
- A resident of New Rochelle
- Elderly Family (Must be age 62+)
- Disabled family/household
- Veterans
- Family with minor children
- Families who do not receive federal housing subsidies, such as Section 8 or public housing.
- A current participant in the City of New Rochelle’s TBRA program (non-CARES Act)
